Event Time and Date

Sunday, April 23 2017, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Join our Greenhouse & Gardens Specialist, Doni Nolan, at the Innovation Food Forest every week during the walk in schedule.

Food Forest Volunteer Walk In Schedule: Sundays 2:3-5:30 and Tuesdays 4-6 PM

The weekly walk-in schedules are set for volunteers to show up and help with seed sowing, transplanting, mulching, weeding and more. You do not need any prior experience to volunteer and you do not need to notify anyone that you're coming. You can just show up during these times and we will be there to teach you everything you need to know.

If you plan to volunteer I recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting wet or dirty. Also, please bring your own reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

The Food Forest is downhill from the south/basement entrance of the JC. Feel free to call or text Doni, dnolan6@gmu.edu or 978-609-6042, if you have trouble finding any of the sites.
